DEEP SEARCH AI: CLARITYCHECK – PRIVACY POLICY

DEEP SEARCH AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Deep Search AI: ClarityCheck mobile application and related services (the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.


1. WHO WE ARE

DEEP SEARCH AI operates the DEEP SEARCH AI: ClarityCheck mobile application.

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, DEEP SEARCH AI acts as the data controller of your personal input data.


2. AGE REQUIREMENT

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We only collect the information necessary to provide ClarityCheck’s search, reverse image, and subscription features.

3.1 Search and Query Data

When you use the Services, we process:

  • Text you type into the app (e.g., names, search terms, product names, URLs).

  • The images you choose to upload for reverse image search.

We treat this as User Input used solely to perform your requested search or lookup via Third-Party AI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Google Search.

We do not create user accounts for ClarityCheck and do not maintain a centralized cloud-based profile of your search history beyond what is technically necessary to provide the Services. All your search data is stored locally inside your device.

3.2 Subscription & Identifier Information

  • Anonymous subscription-related identifiers (e.g., RevenueCat App User ID)
  • Purchase status

Purpose: To manage subscriptions and unlock premium features.
Legal Basis: Performance of contract.

We do not collect or store your payment card information. Payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store.

3.3 Usage & Diagnostic Data

  • Crash reports
  • Performance logs
  • Feature interaction data

Purpose: To improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Legal Basis: Legitimate interests.

3.4 Device Information

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Language and region settings

This information may also be processed by our service providers (for example, analytics, subscription management, and AI providers) for security, operational, or troubleshooting purposes.

Purpose: Security, analytics, subscription validation, and troubleshooting.
Legal Basis: Legitimate interests.


 4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to:

  • Perform text and image-based deep search, people search, social scans, and price comparison on your requested query or input data.
  • Display search results, links, and images from third‑party websites and search engines based on your request only.
  • Manage subscriptions and in‑app purchases.
  • Monitor app performance, fix bugs, and improve features.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data for monetary value or intentionally let the Third-party AI tools use your data or inputs for training purposes.


5. THIRD‑PARTY AI AND DATA SHARING

To power ClarityCheck’s search and analysis features, we use external search and AI providers.

5.1 What data may be sent

When you initiate a search or reverse image lookup, the following information may be sent to our third‑party providers:

  • The search text you enter (including names and product descriptions).

  • Images you upload for reverse image search.

  • Basic technical information (such as device type, model, OS version, and language) is necessary to process the request.

When third-party AI providers process your data:

  • They act as data processors.
  • They process data only under our instructions based on your search request in the app.
  • They do not use your data to train any AI models.

5.2 Who receives the data

We may send your requests to:

  • AI processing providers (for example, OpenAI, Gemini) that help interpret and summarize results.

  • Web search and image search providers (for example, Google, Bing, or other search engines) are used to retrieve web pages and images.

  • Subscription and analytics providers (for example, RevenueCat, crash reporting services) for operational purposes.

Each provider processes your data under its own terms and privacy policy; we use contractual measures to require them to provide equal or stronger protection for your data.

5.3 Purpose and limitations

These third parties act as data processors on our behalf, processing data only to:

  • Execute your search or reverse image query.

  • Return search results and summaries to you.

  • Provide analytics, subscription management, or security.

     

We do not allow these providers to use your queries or images to create public profiles about you or to train models for other customers, except where explicitly permitted by their own policies and applicable law.

We do not provide any facial recognition or biometric identification service, and we do not attempt to identify individuals in images beyond returning where similar images appear publicly online.



6. DATA STORAGE & RETENTION

Search queries and images are processed to perform the search and may be cached temporarily on the app at runtime, for app performance, abuse prevention, or performance, but are not stored longer than necessary or to any cloud servers.

We do not operate a user‑login system or cloud history sync for ClarityCheck; any local history or favorite items you save explicitly remain on your device unless you delete the app or clear data from within the app*.

Subscription and diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
 
* You may delete images or local search history within the app where such controls are provided. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.


7. DATA SHARING

We may share data with:

  • AI processing providers (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini)
  • Subscription management services (e.g., RevenueCat)
  • Apple for payment processing
  • Analytics or crash reporting providers (if applicable)

We may disclose information if required by law to legal authorities.

We do not sell personal data.


8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your data may be transferred and processed outside your country.

Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  • Adequacy decisions
  • Other legally approved mechanisms

We do not sell personal data for monetary value.

We comply with:

12. SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Access controls and logging
  • Regulated AI service providers

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.


13. MARKETING

We do not send marketing communications unless you explicitly opt in. You may unsubscribe at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
